J-Prime Steakhouse is the newest, award-winning, upscale steakhouse in San Antonio. They’re setting a new standard for fine dining in San Antonio and needed a website to align with their vision. We’ve tailored a mobile compatible website with a customized backend to allow our client to consistently update and manage menu changes, upcoming events, reservations, and gift card orders.
As with any new restaurant, changing and refining the menu is crucial for success. The menu section of the website needed a customized backend to allow for easy management of a consistently changing menu. J-Prime Steakhouse offers a vast selection of wines from around the world, so the dinner menu isn’t the only thing that is constantly evolving. The website’s menu page was organized into several categories (dinner, dessert, wine, drinks, happy hour) making it extremely user friendly to help visitors find exactly what they’re looking for.
The events section of J-Prime’s website is the central hub for the weekly tastings, live music, brunches, and multi-course wine dinners. This makes marketing efforts via social media easy since each event added creates a new page on the website to display all of the information related to the event. Through the events page, visitors can learn about upcoming (and even past events to see what they’ve been missing) so they can plan ahead for an enjoyable experience.

Customers can conveniently choose how much they want applied to their gift card and have the cards mailed to them or a friend. The reservation page integrates with J-Prime’s reservation system, allowing J-Prime to accept reservations on their website or via Yelp. This system also allows J-Prime’s front-of-house staff to stay on top of upcoming reservations to plan out each dinner service and execute it successfully.
J-Prime’s customers want to be the first to know when it comes to upcoming events and the latest news. This is easily done through a simple subscription box on the home page that allows J-Prime to continually build their email subscriber lists. A system is in place in case they ever want to continue to expand on that functionality.
